Appeal to locate man with dementia – Edmondson Park

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney’s southwest.

Penitio Hunt, aged, 78, was last seen at Manchuria Place, Edmondson Park, about 1.30pm today (Tuesday 2 July 2024).

When he could not be located, officers attached to Liverpool City Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for Penitio’s welfare as he lives with dementia.

Penitio is described as being of Pacific Islander appearance, about 185cm tall, of medium build and short black hair.

He was last seen wearing a black jacket with woollen hoodie and dark blue denim jeans.

It is possible he is heading to Melbourne.
