Global law firm Ashurst is advising Société Générale and BNP Paribas on the financing of the €1.3 billion acquisition of Reward Gateway, a platform designed to help companies engage, motivate and retain their employees, by Edenred, an expert in services and payments for businesses.
Ashurst advised Société Générale and BNP Paribas on the implementation of a €1 billion bridge loan.
Edenred’s acquisition of Reward Gateway marks the exit of the Abry Partners and Castik Capital funds, which had a share in the company’s capital since 2021.
This acquisition reflects Edenred’s will to expand its service offering, particularly in the rewards and well-being segment.
The Ashurst team was led by finance partner Eric Fiszelson, supported by counsel Audrey Lesage and associate Louis Regnard.
