A body has been located during the search for a man missing in the state’s south.
The 56-year-old man was last heard from on Tuesday 10 June 2024.
When he was unable to be located or contacted, officers attached to Monaro Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
During an extensive search for the man, the body of a man was located at Bombala about 12.15pm today (Sunday 16 June 2024).
While the body is yet to be formally identified, it is believed to be that of the missing man.
Initial inquiries indicate there are no suspicious circumstances and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
