Applications are now open for the 2024-25 Business Façade Improvement Grants.
A total of $50,000 in funding is on offer, with matched funding of up to $5000 available to commercial property owners and businesses and business owners to support those wishing to improve the visual appearance of their shop front and façades.
The initiative aligns with City of Stonnington’s objectives to achieve a thriving and attractive city with a unique identity built on strength of character and pride of place.
From a fresh lick of paint to extra lighting, greenery or signage, the Grant will transform properties looking for a welcome refresh.
Grants will fund improvements such as awning enhancements, upgrades and/or repairs such as repainting of external shop frontages or external treatments that improve the appearance of attractive or unique details such as texture, tiling or other materials.Green walls, planter boxes or greenery and artistic lighting can also be considered, as well as new signage and improvements to existing signage.
