Coastal Recreation Path – temporary closure at Angels Beach

Ballina Shire Council will be carrying out essential maintenance and repairs to a section of the Coastal Recreation Path near Angels Beach commencing Monday 17 June and continuing to Wednesday 19 June 2024.

During these works a section of the Coastal Recreation Path near Angels Beach will be temporarily closed to pedestrian and cycle traffic. See map below for work area.

The path is expected to be reopened by Thursday 20 June 2024, weather permitting.

The necessary works will include replacement of approximately 200 meters of footpath pavement, enhancing the safety and quality of the Coastal Recreation Path for pedestrians and cyclists.

Council understands the inconvenience this temporary closure may cause and we appreciate the community’s patience and understanding as we undertake these crucial improvements.

These works are jointly funded through the Australian and NSW Government’s Community Assets Program.
