Ballina Shire Council is upgrading a section of footpath on Compton Drive at East Ballina commencing Monday 24 June 2024 and continuing to Friday 5 July 2024.
During these works a section of Compton Drive will be reduced to one lane from 7am to 3.30pm on weekdays. See map below for area affected. Traffic control will be in place.
Residents are advised to expect delays and are encouraged to choose an alternate route if possible.
Widening this section of footpath is identified as a priority in Council’s Pedestrian Access and Mobility Plan (PAMP). Council thanks the community for their patience and understanding during these works.
