Macedon Ranges Shire Council has been made aware of residents receiving unsolicited phone calls that claim to be made on behalf of Council, and ask for personal information, or for residents to complete a telephone survey.
These are scam/phishing calls. They are NOT a survey or phone call being officially conducted by, or on behalf of Council.
At this point in time, Council is not currently conducting any telephone surveys. If you are ever asked to complete a telephone survey, we encourage you to check the details of the organisation calling you and to ask for the name of the survey project.
