Macleay Valley high school students from years 10-12 were out and about last week at the School and Industry Connections (SIC) Day at the Kempsey Showground learning about all the different types of career pathways available to them from employers across the region.

The Kempsey Shire Council team was there showcasing the diversity of careers on offer at Council for those starting out. This includes cadet, trainee and apprenticeship roles across a range of industries including:

  • Horticulture/Landscape Construction

  • Library & Information Services
  • Business Administration
  • Communications
  • Financial Services
