One person has died following a two vehicle crash on Boyd Road near Williamson Road, Gordonton, this morning.
Emergency services responded to the crash around 10:15am.
A secound person suffered serious injuries.
The Serious Crash Unit conducted a scene examination.
The road has since reopened and enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
