Geraldton Detectives Charge Man With Sexual Offences

Geraldton Detectives have further charged a 21-year-old man with additional offences as a result of their continued investigation into his alleged sexual offending.

On 6 June 2024, Geraldton Detectives charged the 21-year-old man from Jurien Bay in relation to offences against a female teenager that occurred in 2023. He has been charged with:

• Aggravated Sexual Penetration without Consent;

• Sexually Penetrated a Child of or over 13 and under 16;

• Child under 16: Persistent Sexual Conduct with;

• Sexual Penetration without Consent; and

• Impeded Another Person’s Normal Breathing or Blood Circulation by Applying Pressure to Neck.

He is due to appear before the Geraldton Magistrates Court on 11 July 2024 in relation to these five charges.

The 21-year-old man is currently remanded in prison after being charged with 11 sexual offences against three female teenagers in 2023. He is next due to appear before the Geraldton District Court on these 11 offences on 31 July 2024.
