Greater Bendigo showcase invites local businesses to seek new opportunities and network

The City of Greater Bendigo in partnership with the Industry Capability Network (ICN) is inviting small to medium-sized businesses to attend the Greater Bendigo Showcase.

This free event will take place from 4pm to 6pm on Wednesday June 26 at The Conservatory, All Seasons Resort Hotel.

All small and medium businesses are encouraged to attend this informative session designed to foster collaboration and showcase opportunities in the Greater Bendigo region and across Victoria.

This is an exciting opportunity for businesses to gain insights on local major projects, connect with key industry leaders and learn how to tender, supply, and discover new business opportunities.

The event will include presentations from major organisations:

  • Community Safety Building Authority
  • Coliban Water
  • Development Victoria
  • Agnico Eagle Fosterville Gold Mine

City of Greater Bendigo Director of Presentation and Assets Brian Westley will be among the speakers.

The City’s Procurement team will also be providing advice on the City’s tender process and the advantages of joining VendorPanel.

Benefits for local businesses attending:

  • Gain insights about major projects locally and across the state
  • Learn how to connect and tender for work
  • Network with key stakeholders and other businesses, build valuable relationships, and discover new opportunities
  • Understand the value of social procurement and learn about its benefits and importance in today’s market

Mr Westley said the Greater Bendigo Showcase was a must in the business calendar.

“The City is proud to partner with ICN for the Greater Bendigo Showcase which offers a unique platform for businesses to expand their networks, learn from industry leaders, and explore new growth opportunities,” Mr Westley said.

“Businesses will be in the same room as some of the biggest players from different sectors so it’s a chance to hear about new major projects, including the Regional Sports Infrastructure Package which is investing in Red Energy Arena, Bendigo Bowls and Croquet Clubs, and Bendigo Showgrounds.

“Businesses will also gain a better understanding of the procurement process and be part of invaluable networking opportunities.

“I encourage businesses not to miss out on this inspiring afternoon showcase. Be sure to register and take advantage of this free event.”
