Man charged after Davoren Park robbery, South Australia

A man has been charged after an alleged robbery at Daveron Park this morning.

Just before 10am on Wednesday 2 July, police were called to a shop on Peachey Road in Davoren Park.

Reports were received that a man allegedly armed with a knife threatened staff and stole cigarettes before attempting to leave in a car.

Police immediately attended the area and established cordons, locating a car nearby that had damaged tyres.

Police located a man a short time later and he was arrested for aggravated robbery.

The 19-year-old man from Elizabeth South will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on 5 February.
