Man critical following two car crash in Rosehill

A man is in critical condition following a two-vehicle crash in Rosehill today.

About 11.20am today (Sunday 23 June 2024), emergency services were called to the intersection of James Ruse Drive and Virginia Street, Rosehill, following reports of a two-vehicle crash.

Officers attached to Cumberland Police Area Command arrived to find a Toyota Corolla had collided with a Skoda SUV.

The driver of the Toyota, a man in his 20s, was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics for significant head injuries before being taken to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition.

The driver of the SUV, a 27-year-old man, was also taken to Westmead Hospital with minor injuries.

Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
