Man Dies After Crash On Pacific Highway At Cowan

A man has died following a crash on the Pacific Highway, Cowan.

About 11:30am today (Tuesday 25 June 2024) emergency services attended the Pacific Highway, Cowan following reports of a truck and car crash.

Upon arrival, officers attached to Ku-ring-gai Police Area Command found a car had driven into the rear of a parked truck.

The driver of the car, a 22-year-old man, sustained critical injuries and died at the scene.

A crime scene was established, and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident has commenced.

The driver of the truck, a 56-year-old man was taken to Hornsby Hospital for mandatory testing.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
