New Glass Panelling Enhances Squash Courts

Squash players are making the most of the upgraded courts at Broadford Stadium. The installation of glass panelling has addressed ongoing maintenance issues associated with the previous concrete panelling. This improvement aims to enhance the experience for both the Seymour Squash Association, which uses the courts for training and competitions, and casual users.

The previous plaster walls were prone to severe and frequent cracking due to the flex caused by ball impact. This led to continuous maintenance challenges, as the uneven surface, plaster and paint dust affected gameplay. The new glass panelling ensures a more durable and consistent playing environment, reducing the need for constant repairs and making the courts more appealing to current and prospective users.

This $45,000 council-funded project reflects our commitment to providing high-quality recreational facilities for our community.
