- New winter urban arts festival RE//Perth officially opens
- Festival offers mix of family friendly, free, and ticketed events

Perth’s newest arts and culture festival officially opened today, kicking off 10 days of free and ticketed activities activating multiple Northbridge spaces in a celebration of creativity and urban exploration.
Running from 4-14 July, with hero production The Mirror, running until 27 July, RE//Perth will warm up the second week of the winter school holidays by offering a range of family-friendly events.
The festival centres around food, music, performance, play and sustainable fashion, offering four key themes:
- (RE//FLECT) – an exclusive, large-scale premiere of music and acrobatic show,The Mirror,from multi-award-winning producers Gravity and Other Myths, which will run for four weeks;
- (RE//BIRTH) – high-end degustation food and wine experiences, electrifying live music program, and winter food offerings like toasted marshmallows and mulled wine;
- (RE//PLAY) – live entertainment, interactive winter-themed activities, and more, and;
- (RE//PURPOSE) – highlighting the value of recycled and repurposed fashion through workshops for children and adults.
The festival is a new and diverse homegrown addition to Western Australia’s events calendar and is being delivered by ARTRAGE, the local not-for-profit registered charity and WA arts and cultural organisation known for producing the annual FRINGE WORLD Festival.
RE//Perth adds to the growing list of events and exhibitions happening across Perth during winter, including the TIME RONE exhibition running at the Art Gallery of Western Australia until 30 September, as well as blockbuster events during August such as UFC 305, Wallabies vs Springboks and the Perth International Football Cup.
