Police appeal for information: Fatal traffic crash at Carseldine, QLD

Police are investigating a fatal two-vehicle traffic crash at Carseldine on Tuesday, June 25.

Initial investigations indicate a grey Kia Cerato and white Mercedes Benz were travelling southbound, when they crashed on Gympie Arterial Road at approximately 8.20am.

Emergency services attended the scene and both the 83-year-old male driver and 75-year-old female passenger of the Kia were taken to hospital.

Three days later on June 28, the 83-year-old man died from his injuries.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have been travelling on the road who witnessed the crash, or who has dashcam vision, to contact police.
