Police appeal for information, tobacconist break ins, Southeast Queensland

Police are investigating multiple break-and-enters at tobacconists across South-East Queensland overnight.

Initial investigations indicate a group of males rammed a business on Discovery Drive in Helensvale just after 1am on June 26 with a black dual cab utility, before leaving the scene with a quantity of items.

Around an hour later, the same vehicle is believed to have been used to ram a business on Logan Road in Stones Corner, before the group also left the scene.

Just before 3am, a group of people have broken into a business on Cavendish Road in Coorparoo using crow bars, before leaving in an unknown SUV.

Then around 3.45am, another business was broken into on Downs Street in North Ipswich, where they used crowbars to open the security doors, before leaving in a blue SUV with a sum of cash.

Meanwhile, earlier in the night, unknown offenders have broken into a business on Collingwood Drive in Collingwood Park around 7pm on June 25, using a tool to smash the front door.

Investigations are ongoing to determine the links between these incidents.

Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone who may have dashcam vision in or around these areas at the time of the incidents to come forward.
