Police are investigating a fatal collision in Hernes Oak this morning.
It is believed that a car collided with a truck on Strzelecki Highway about 8.40am.
Members of the public immediately came to the assistance of the driver of the car, who is yet to be formally identified, but they could not be revived.
The driver of the truck was not injured and remained at the scene.
The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be determined.
