A 24-year-old man from Chigwell has been charged after allegedly evading police in Kingston this afternoon.
The man was reportedly riding a ‘pocket bike’ type motorcycle on Redwood Road about 1pm when he failed to stop for police.
The man was found to have a disqualified licence, and the motorcycle was not registered.
He was arrested and charged with evading police and disqualified driving, and will appear in out of hours court.
Police have seized the motorcycle, and would like to remind community members that these types of motorcycles require both a licence and registration.
