Northern Territory Police have charged a man following a serious stabbing incident that occurred over the weekend.
Just after 9pm on Saturday 8 June 2024, police received multiple calls reporting a stabbing on Hare Street, Moil. A 29-year-old female sustained a stab wound to the neck during an altercation with a man who was known to her. The offender fled the scene on foot before police arrived.
The victim was treated at the scene by St John Ambulance before being taken to Royal Darwin Hospital for further treatment.
A 41-year-old man was later arrested by investigators and charged with Recklessly endanger serious harm. He will appear in court on 25 June 2024.
