Police Make Arrest – Aggravated Robbery In Darwin 7 May

Northern Territory Police have arrested two youths in relation to an aggravated robbery in Darwin on Friday last week.

Around 10pm, police received reports that two girls, aged 12 and 13, had attended a service station on the Stuart Highway, Parap. The youths have allegedly thrown items at an employee before stealing cash and cigarettes and fleeing the scene on foot.

Detectives from Strike Force Trident and general duties officers attended the scene.

Both youths were arrested a short time later and have since been charged with Aggravated robbery, Theft and Criminal damage. They were bailed to appear in court at later dates.

Northern Territory Police continue to urge anyone who witnesses crime or anti-social behaviour to make contact on 131 444 or Triple Zero (000) in an emergency.
