Northern Territory Police are calling for information after an aggravated assault occurred in Darwin City this morning.
Around 7:50am, police received reports that 2 males, aged 54 and 67, were approached by a male armed with an edged weapon on the ground floor carpark of an apartment block on Daly Street.
The offender, believed to be aged in his mid-20’s, allegedly assaulted both men with the edged weapon before taking a scooter from one of them and being picked up in a vehicle towing a trailer.
CCTV identified the vehicle travelling in the direction of Stuart Park.
Both victims were conveyed to Royal Darwin Hospital with minor injuries.
