Police Update: Serious Assault Charges At Beenleigh

Police have charged three juveniles following investigations into an alleged serious assault in Beenleigh that occurred on Wednesday, June 26.

Emergency services were initially called to the intersection of Alamein Street and Savages Parade around 11pm, following reports of a male laying in the middle of the road.

Upon arrival, officers located a 17-year-old Beenleigh boy who had sustained serious injuries.

He was transported to hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.

Following investigations by the Logan District Child Protection Investigation Unit police arrested three boys in the Beenleigh area on June 28.

A 16-year-old Eagleby boy and two 15-year-old Beenleigh boys have now been charged with one count each of grievous bodily harm and will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
