Police have charged a 25-year-old Arundel man following an alleged two-vehicle traffic crash in Biggera Waters on March 5.
It will be alleged just after 7pm, a Jeep Cherokee was travelling west along Brisbane Road when it allegedly lost control and struck a bus travelling in the opposite direction.
Multiple passengers aboard the bus were transported to hospital.
The Jeep driver, a 25-year-old Arundel man, was also injured and taken to hospital.
Following extensive investigations, police charged the 25-year-old man with one count each dangerous operation of a vehicle causing death or grievous bodily harm whilst adversely affected by an intoxicating substance whilst excessively speed, and did drive U.I.L.
He is due to appear at Southport Magistrates Court on June 5.
