Re-appeal after new information received in search for man missing from Bondi Junction

Police are re-appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, after receiving new information on his whereabouts.

John Robinson, aged 67, was last seen on Bondi Junction interchange on Bronte Road, Bondi Junction, about 3.20pm yesterday (Thursday 20 June 2024).

When he was unable to be located or contacted, officers attached to Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for John’s welfare due to him suffering from medical conditions which require regular medication.

About 6.40pm yesterday (Friday 20 June 2024), John is believed to have boarded a city-bound bus number ‘333’ from Grafton Street, Bondi Junction.

John is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 170cm tall, of thin build with grey hair and a grey beard.

He was last seen wearing a green checkered shirt, blue jeans and grey shoes, and was carrying a black backpack.
