Riverine Masterplan On Exhibition: Bayside

Bayside Council is currently seeking community feedback on its 10-year Masterplan for Riverine Park.

This Masterplan will guide the transformation of Riverine Park and its surrounding area into a vibrant and exciting area to meet community needs.

Key components of the plan include:

  • A pedestrian bridge over Muddy Creek to connect Kyeemagh and Botany Bay foreshore,
  • Formalising the trail across the Cooks River connecting Wolli Creak,
  • Upgrade of existing playground and expand the activity zone to include outdoor fitness area and basketball court,
  • Improvement works to Landing Lights Wetlands,
  • New walking trails, boardwalks and view platforms,
  • A lookout for plane spotting.

Bayside Council is holding two onsite information sessions near the Riverine Park Playground to help gather community feedback:

  • Session 1: Tuesday 28 May, 3-5pm.
  • Session 2: Saturday 1 June, 10am-12noon.

No registration is required for these session were the community will have the opportunity to discuss the plans with members of Council’s design team.

Community feedback will be used to refine the masterplan before the final version is endorsed by the Council.

Feedback closes Monday 10 June.
