Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate Rocky Novello.
The 30-year-old of no fixed address is wanted on warrant in relation to assault police.
Novello is Caucasian, about 170cm tall, of medium build, long dark hair, beard.
Novello is known to frequent the Carlton, Lalor, Wallan and Reservoir areas.
Investigators have released an image of Novello in the hope someone may be able to provide information on his current whereabouts.
