Shopping Centre Break-in At Craigmore

Police are investigating after a Hilux was used to break into a Craigmore shopping centre this morning.

About 4.30am on Sunday 16 June, police were called to Yorktown Road after witnesses reported finding the doors to the shopping centre had been smashed.

When police arrived, they found significant damage to the front of the premises and an attempt made to remove the ATM from inside.

At 9.15am MFS were called to Bevan Road Virginia after reports a vehicle was on fire.

MFS quickly extinguished the blaze, but the Toyota Hilux was destroyed.

Enquiries revealed the Hilux had been stolen from Ingle Farm on 13 June.

Police have searched the area, but suspects have not been located at this time.
