Stable Parliament delivers on 2030 Strong Plan for Tasmania’s Future

Jeremy Rockliff, Premier

The Tasmanian Liberal Government is delivering the stable, collaborative government that Tasmanians voted for.

Premier Jeremy Rockliff said stable Government provides the certainty and confidence that our economy needs to grow.

“This is the Parliament that Tasmanians voted for, and despite the relentless negativity from the Labor Party, this week’s sitting demonstrates that this Parliament is working,” Premier Rockliff said.

“We are getting on with the job of delivering our 2030 Strong Plan for Tasmania’s Future, with important legislation passing the Parliament in recent weeks including our Stamp out Stamp Duty policy, and our supercharged Renewable Energy Dividend providing $250 off every Tasmanian household in coming weeks.

“The Tasmanian Liberal Government is working collaboratively with the Parliament to take action on the things that matter to Tasmanians, like cost of living, health and housing.

“Tasmanians want solutions. They don’t want low-rent stunts or bullying tactics.

“Our Government is committed to making this Parliament work and delivering for Tasmanians, and we invite the Labor Party to cease their campaign of destabilisation and join us in making Tasmania the best place to live, work and raise a family.”
