Support Local – Visit Hoppers Junction

The Hoppers Junction business precinct, which is located next to Hoppers Junction Train Station, is looking fresh with a new updated look thanks to a pilot shopfront improvement project.

This initiative has supported eight local businesses by upgrading their signage and improving their street presence which will encourage customers to stop, visit and boost the village shopping strip.

The installation of new temporary wayfinding signage at Hoppers Crossing Train Station including footpath decals near the train station and Bus Exchange will compliment and promote the Hoppers Junction businesses to commuters.

Wyndham City’s Mayor, Cr Jennie Barrera, said: “The improvements have helped to build a more welcoming and appealing shopping precinct to help attract and retain customers.”

“We are encouraging residents to support local businesses in Hoppers Junction.”

“When we create great vibrant spaces where people want to shop and dine it’s a win-win – it’s great for customers, it’s great for businesses and builds the resilience of our local economy. We understand that running a small business can be challenging. Projects like this can re-energise businesses that might otherwise lack the time and resources to enhance their offerings and improve the presentation of their shop fronts.”

“The Hoppers Junction precinct includes a bustling mix of small hospitality, shopping and service-based businesses and it’s fantastic to see this precinct continue to evolve and build on the customer experience.”

“Whether Hoppers Junction is your local go-to, or you’re a first-time visitor I encourage you to pop down and explore the shopping strip.”

Wyndham City’s Shopfront Improvement program is the latest in a number of initiatives to help activate Hoppers Junction precinct including the installation of a large-scale mural, Dark Days are Over and regular events hosted together with local businesses.
