The Territory’s brightest vocational education and training stars have been recognised with the 2024 NT Training Award finalists announced today.
This year’s Awards will see 34 finalists across 12 categories, including 7 individual and 5 business categories from across the Territory including Darwin, Alice Springs, Tennant Creek and Batchelor.
The 2024 finalist represent a diverse field of industries including engineering, construction, electrical, air conditioning and refrigeration, health, business, aquaculture, maritime, vet nursing, early childhood education and beauty services.
Now in its 69th year, the NT Training Awards celebrate and acknowledge the achievements of the Territory’s most outstanding VET students including apprentices and trainees, trainers, training providers and employers.
Currently there are more than 3,770 Territorians undertaking an apprenticeship or traineeship and over 40 Registered Training Organisations delivering training.
Territory winners will be announced at the 2024 NT Training Awards Gala on Saturday 31 August, and eligible winners will represent the NT at the Australian Training Awards in Canberra on Friday 6 December 2024.
