Police have arrested a man and a woman after a refrigerated delivery truck was allegedly stolen in Chadstone on Thursday afternoon.
Investigators have been told the truck was parked at a liquor retailer on Warrigal Road, Chadstone about 2.40pm.
It is alleged a man got into the truck and drove it away.
Police were notified and the Air Wing was able to follow the truck as it was driven through a number of suburbs of Melbourne.
It is also alleged that the driver stopped in Chadstone to pick up a female passenger.
Officers were able to secure the truck in Frankston about 7.45pm and arrested a 38-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman.
They are currently assisting police with their enquires.
