We’re getting ready for the city’s next creative event that’s being held at the Buckaroo Leatherworks in Bellambi.

Proudly produced by Wollongong City Council, Creative Dialogues – Connecting through Art, Music and Conversation is a free day of workshops, discussions, and live music all in celebration of the ‘Gong’s local, creative industries.

Whether you’re a creative producer, performer, artist, or someone who just appreciates creativity, there’s something for everyone to enjoy!

When and where is this event being held?

Saturday 18 May, from 12noon to 9pm at the Buckaroo Leatherworks, 16 Bellambi Lane.

Is this a free event and do I need a ticket?

Yes, entry to this event and any accompanying activities and workshops is completely free. Some activities require bookings. See the event program for more details.

Where can I find a copy of the program?

You can view the full program online. Don’t forget that some activities require pre-bookings. Details and booking links available in the program.

Workshops are fully booked out, but there’s still plenty to see and do. Check out the panel discussions, open studios, brewery tours and finish the evening with live music featuring:

  • + Hot or Not DJs.

How do I get there?

The Buckaroo Leatherworks is just 100metres from the Bellambi Train Station.

If you are planning on driving, there is on-street parking available on Bellambi Land and Pioneer Drive as well as limited parking at the venue.

Who is this event for?

This event is for creative producers, performers, artists, and anyone interested in creativity. While this event is family-friendly, the program is aimed at adults and young people.

Will there be any food available?

There are loads of great food and beverage options available at nearby cafes and restaurants as a well as a food truck.

Are there any accessible features at this event?
