Cessnock City Council has a Balloon flight and champagne breakfast for two to giveaway as part of this month’s Support Local campaign. For the month of July, the campaign will be focussing on the amazing cafes across the Greater Cessnock area, that provide our community their much-needed fuel to start their days.
Cessnock City Mayor Jay Suvaal said the competition is a great way to highlight the wonderful cafes in our region.
“Our vibrant cafes play a vital role in our community, they are more than places for coffee they’re community hubs that fuel our mornings and bring people together,” said Clr Suvaal.
“Let’s toast to our local cafes and share your coffee love to stand a chance to experience the beauty of Hunter Valley from the skies!”
Residents are encouraged to give a shoutout in 25 words or less to their favourite coffee shop or café in the Cessnock LGA. To enter, simply post a photo of your coffee or brunch, the staff or the business, tag them, and use the hashtag #supportlocalcessnock for your chance to win.
The winner will be selected at random and will enjoy 60 minutes of spectacular views of the Hunter Valley, followed by a champagne breakfast at Redsalt Restaurant Rydges Resort.
The competition will run from 1 to 31 July 2024. Winners will be announced in early August via Advance Greater Cessnock’s social media channels.
