Albury Police District are seeking witnesses after a man was stabbed in South Albury yesterday.
About 3pm (Monday 3 June 2019), a 25-year-old man presented to a shop on Ebden Street suffering stab wounds.
The man was taken to Albury Base Hospital and received surgery for wounds to his stomach and hand.
Police attended and a crime scene was established.
Investigations are continuing into the circumstances surrounding the man’s injuries.
Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has information about the stabbing to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
